Yes. All projects require a 50% deposit to secure your start date. The remaining balance is due upon delivery for smaller projects, or split across milestones for larger engagements. Monthly services are billed in advance.

For larger projects we structure payments across milestones — typically 40% upfront, 40% at midpoint, and 20% on delivery. We'll always discuss payment structure before any contract is signed.

Rush delivery is available on most packages. Projects with less than two weeks' notice carry a 25% expedite fee. Same-day photography delivery is available for an additional $400.

Yes. Every package includes a set number of revision rounds — and for training and organizational projects, revisions are unlimited during the development phase. Additional revisions beyond your package are billed at $150/hour.

All our packages include appropriate licensing for you to use the content for your business and marketing purposes. This typically covers digital, social, web, and internal use. For broader usage like broadcast or international campaigns (common in Tiers 3 & 4), we explicitly outline those rights in the agreement.

You own the final delivered video files and have the usage rights to employ them for your business as defined in our agreement. Straun Studios retains the copyright to the creative work and the right to display it in our portfolio, unless otherwise agreed upon.

For video, we'll walk you through everything in your discovery call — talking points, wardrobe, location. For photography, you'll receive a detailed preparation guide upon booking. For web and content projects, having your brand assets and any existing content ready will help us move faster.

Absolutely. Packages are designed to scale. If your needs grow during the project we'll discuss the upgrade and adjust accordingly.

Yes. We serve the DC Metro area and beyond. Travel costs and a 15% logistics fee apply for multi-location shoots outside our standard service area.
